We recently used Jake at JMC for a major renovation project at our home, including knocking through two separate rooms and installing an RSJ, fitting telescopic pocket doors, installing a brand-new staircase with bespoke understair storage, a new WC vanity unit, laying LVT floor tiles, hallway/stairs wall panelling and creating a bespoke media wall complete with lighting. I can honestly say Jake is the most professional tradesman we have ever used. From the initial quotation through to completion, every aspect of the project was handled expertly and professionally. Jake arrived when he said he would, provided a detailed quote promptly, and supplied a works contract and proof of insurance from the outset, giving us complete confidence in the process. Throughout the project, Jake was reliable, organised and highly skilled. He coordinated all the necessary trades seamlessly and was very accommodating when we changed our minds on certain aspects of the design. Nothing was ever too much trouble, even when our changes added complexity to the work. We are delighted with the final result. It's rare to find a contractor who combines high craftsmanship with excellent communication, reliability and customer service. We would not hesitate recommend JMC to anyone and would certainly used them again for any future projects.

We had Jake for a large amount of work to renovate our house, including new doors, skirting boards, fitted wardrobes and other furniture, taking Conservatory down and a kitchen renovation. All of the work was of an extremely high standard and nothing was too much trouble. Jake was a pleasure to have in the house, he always put covers down and tidied up after himself. Whenever we had a question Jake was very responsive and willing to put forward ideas to help us get the best result. We are extremely pleased with the work Jake has done and would have no hesitation in recommending him to family or friends.

Some more great work from Jake. Kitchen, pocket door to boiler room, faux solid oak window board and made to measure skirting. Hard working, reliable, honest and work that's pretty much perfect!

I whole heartedly recommend JMC Home Improvements, Jake is hard working, trustworthy, tidies up as he works, and really skilled. His carpentry skills are exceptional. He created the most beautiful herringbone floor, laundry and down stairs bathroom. He is creative and thoughtful when it comes to suggesting solutions for challenges during the build process. Nothing is too much, he's passionate about producing great work and a top class finish to the project.

Jake renovated the kitchen in our very old cottage and was superb providing us with advice and information on products and materials. He was always friendly, approachable, on time and we found nothing was too much trouble with the standard of the work he delivered.
